Job Description
Driver / Loader / Receiving Assistant :
Schedule : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (includes overtime)
Availability : Must be flexible and available between 4 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM on short notice (1–2 days)
About the Role :
Jefferson Millwork & Design is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our logistics team as a Driver / Loader / Receiving Assistant. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient material handling, accurate deliveries, and a well-maintained work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in doing the job right.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate company vehicles of all sizes, including 24’ box delivery trucks.
- Serve as a substitute driver when regular drivers are unavailable.
- Receive, allocate, and organize materials for delivery — including labeling, scanning, and loading for same-day dispatch.
- Assist with sorting veneer and hardware, including heavy lifting and movement of sheet goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and canopy area, including emptying trash cans and hoppers.
- Support general warehouse and loading operations as needed.
