Po sition Overview

This position is based onsite in Shackelford County, Texas.

Vantage is looking for a detail-focused Construction Cost Analyst who loves numbers, muti-tasking, and doesn't mind heavy data entry at times. This role will support various members of the Construction Cost Finance team . As a Construction Cost Finance Analyst within the Construction Cost Finance department, this role will support the budgeting, tracking, and analysis of all financial metrics for Vantage's construction projects in the region. The Analyst will engage in routine tasks that require training or experience, such as analyzing project cost data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate cost allocations.

Essential Job Functions

Administrative and Accounting Functions :

Process pay application billings, budgets, insurance certificates, lien waivers, and other related documents.

Create and assist with capital purchase order processing, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budget requirements.

Data Reconciliation and Integrity :

Reconcile system databases to maintain data integrity and continuity across systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Intercompany Transactions :

Support the intercompany sales team to facilitate transactions between Vantage entities, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Partner Support :

Provide internal and external partner support, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication between stakeholders.

Track lien waivers to ensure timely collection and compliance with lender requirements.

Coordinate directly with banks and financial institutions to support smooth and timely funding of capital projects.

S upport the Construction Cost Finance team with preparation of CAPEX project loan documentation, contractor documents, invoices, and purchase orders.

Data Research and Analysis :

Conduct data research, compilation, and analysis to support financial decision-making and project management.

Invoicing and Cost Summaries :

Prepare and consolidate monthly invoicing and cost summaries to support capital project funding, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Additional Duties :

Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.

Basic knowledge and understanding of construction cost accounting is required .

Knowledge of GAAP is preferred, but not required .

1+ year work experience in relevant industry is required (construction, real estate, and / or tech) .

Data Center and Construction industry experience is preferred, but not required .

Provide a high-level of dedication to customer service with team members and partners .

Ability to efficiently respond to critical issues, challenging inquiries or complaints .

Ability to think critically, tackle problems and drive efficiencies using metrics and information .

Successful candidate must be an excellent teammate and able to work with a variety of people.

This position requires an organized individual with the capacity to balance multiple projects simultaneously, perform well in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize work efforts, all with minimal direction.

Travel required is expected to be up to 5 % but may increase over time as the business evolves .
