Job Description Summary :

The Production, Mission, Operations & Enhancements group is seeking a multi-talented engineer to support and lead technical program industrialization for a variety of specimens ranging from electronic piece parts to full system solutions across Draper's product portfolio offering. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing design transfers of various ground-breaking solutions from the Development, Validation, to Manufacturing and through to the Post Launch phases. This role offers participation in cutting edge technologies and realizing these designs through productization.

The candidate will be expected to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional, multi-site teams. This is primarily an on-site role, with some flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Description :

Duties / Responsibilities

• Able to take ownership of assignments and guide others as needed; successfully lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Derive plans, approaches, procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle, capturing all assumptions and adapting appropriately to changes in requirements with limited direction.
• Independently contributes high quality content for technical reports and presentations which shows an understanding of their task and an awareness of the intended audience. Demonstrates both confidence and success when presenting technical information during meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify program / system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
• Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills / Abilities

Education

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.

Experience

Requires 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$82,300.00 - $205,750.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
