Internal Medicine Physician

• Role : Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / Med Peds)
• Primary Worksite Name : Santa Fe Indian Health Center
• Primary Worksite City : Santa Fe
• Primary Worksite State : New Mexico
• Worksite Type : Government, Indian Health care
• Work Schedule : 8 AM - 4 : 30 PM on most days (1 in 6 weekdays long shift 11 : 30 hrs shift) (In a month, average 1.5 weekend days and 3.5 long shifts). Physicians can take more long shifts if they want to.

4 Clinics - Primarily work at 1 clinic (Santa Fe IHC open all days of week 8am - 7 : 30pm) and rotate to 2-3 other clinics (8a-4 : 30p which are 30 min away).

Walk in clinic is 11 : 30 hrs open daily (8am-7 : 30pm). Not an urgent care.

30 mins follow up visit and 1 hour for new visits.

Board Certification Requirements : BE / BC in FM / IM / Med Peds (Must be comfortable seeing kids)

NO OB.

License : Any state license works.

New grads welcome.

Certification : BLS is needed (recommended ACLS and PALS - can do it after starting job).

Average census in 8 hrs shift - 14 patients per day (Range 12-16).

Average census in 11 : 30 hrs (8am - 7 : 30 pm) shift - 20 patients per day.
