Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist in Home Health, you will :

  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, daily living activities, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment.
  • Provide services within the scope of practice defined by state laws, following the plan of care, utilizing evidence-based techniques, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Evaluate patients’ functional status and occupational therapy needs, consulting with physicians to develop therapy plans.
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the nurse supervisor and physician.
  • Conduct patient assessments using diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.

    • License Requirements

    To join our team, you will need :

  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Arizona.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
