Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital operating room setting Day shift with 10-hour shifts, schedule includes Monday through Sunday coverage Rotating weekly and weekend call is required Candidates must be able to work a minimum of every other weekend and have a flexible schedule to meet unit and patient care needs Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Day No block scheduling is allowed Operating Room RN duties will include circulating and / or scrubbing for surgical cases, including C-sections Team is collaborative with expectations for flexibility and weekend / holiday scheduling Bi-weekly Monday orientation is provided First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Candidates must explain all employment gaps over 90 days Snowy weather preparedness is essential during winter months Requirements Current VT or compact RN license required, or willingness to apply within 24 hours of offer AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year recent OR experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Must have experience assisting with C-section procedures Experience as a scrub nurse is highly preferred, but strong circulators will be considered Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years is required and nonnegotiable Reliable personal or rental vehicle required due to lack of public transportation in the area Vehicles must be equipped with all season or snow tires from November to April Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621947.
