Job Description Summary : Under the direction of the Director, this position has overall responsibility for day-to-day department operations including line officers and supervisors for a site. He / She is accountable for developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures and coordinating activities between shifts and campuses. Work with the Director to develop a team approach to problem solving, accountabilities and staff development. Responsibilities include : overseeing line-staff personnel functions, patrol operations, and providing liaison with outside law enforcement, compliance, and fire agencies. This position has a key leadership role in the Hospital's crisis management program. The Site Manager is authorized by the President and Chief Medical Officer to take immediate action to resolve or abate significant safety issues in the absence of the Director.

High School or GED (Required)DL - Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles, OPOTA - Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy - Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy
Additional Job Description :
3 to 5 years of law enforcement security management or equivalent Experience; knowledge of local, state, federal and Healthcare laws; possess strong interpersonal skills; demonstrates exceptional customer service qualities; maintains strong written and verbal communication skills; holds current OPOTA Peace Officer Certification and or Private security firearms Certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire); basic knowledge of computer related programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; and must possess a current State Driver's License.
