We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team.
Role Description
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in our Clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with our medical team and be trained to independently see and treat patients. For patients visiting for general wellness or urgent care, you will assess, diagnose, and develop a treatment plan. For patients visiting for weight loss, you will develop personalized weight management plans, including prescribing weight loss treatments and providing guidance on nutritional plans.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history and physical exams
- Review diagnostic test results with patients and discuss course of action
- Provide evidence-based medical treatments for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop customized weight loss plans for patients.
- Educate patients on managing weight, nutrition, exercise, and other lifestyle factors for improved health outcomes.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate, in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Provide counseling and support to help patients make long-term lifestyle changes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois.Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (FNP, ANP, or appropriate certification).Prior experience in family medicine, weight loss, or primary care is preferred, but not required.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate patients effectively.Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a focus on wellness and prevention.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Benefits :
