Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for adult cardiac and vascular imaging, requiring ARDMS with RDCS or RCS and vascular credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based cardiology and radiology department
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Rotating weekends and on-call required
  • Adult patient population with opportunity for pediatric cases
  • Vascular imaging included as part of case mix
  • Preferred experience with Altera EMR, but not required
  • Return travelers must have a one-year gap from past permanent employment before eligibility
  • Clinicians must complete required lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance or provide a completion plan
  • Modules are completed during orientation and typically take 6-8 hours
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
  • Modules are non-billable and part of orientation

    • Requirements

  • Must be registered in echocardiography (ARDMS with RDCS or RCS) and vascular (RVT or RCS) for adults
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the service line required
  • License required if applicable
  • Resume and certification verification required for consideration
  • Travel experience preferred
  • References from 2 supervisors within the past 3 years of employment required
