Job Description

In this role you will oversee all areas of accounting, with additional responsibilities in finance, for this well-known and fantastic local company in Lincoln. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of accountants charged with creating many financial statements for each accounting period.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the accounting team in a way that encourages and celebrates their successes
  • Ensure financial goals are met
  • Create and track annual budget
  • Assist in developing the strategic plan for the organization
  • Play a lead role in client relationship development
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement those as needed

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Must have strong experience leading a team of accountants
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Strong financial reporting skills are required
  • Experience in public accounting is a plus

    The annual base salary for this position is $120000 - $170000 per year (excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
