Responsibilities Work in a 26-bed Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility within an acute care setting Typical patient population includes individuals with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 10 on days and 1 : 19 at night No IVs, titratable drips, or telemetry monitoring required 12-hour shifts from 7 to 7, with rotation between day and night shifts Every other weekend and every other major holiday shift required No floating or on-call responsibilities Charting is completed using the Matrix EMR system Responsibilities include serving as charge nurse, passing medications, and performing wound care No direct clinical involvement with rehabilitation or acute inpatient rehab Orientation includes 2-3 unit-specific shifts Support provided by Director of Nursing and as-needed physical therapy and social work designee Nurses must be clean and presentable in appearance; no specific scrub color required Time off requests must be submitted upfront (7 days or fewer per 13-week contract); additional requests will not be approved Physician is available by phone after hours First time travelers will be considered Requirements Active ND or compact RN license required at time of application; pending licenses not accepted Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; pending certifications not accepted Minimum of 2 years of recent LTC experience required Experience using Matrix EMR is preferred Candidates may not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year Must live at least 50 miles from the facility Driver's license must be provided for consideration Two professional references required : one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614589.
