Position Overview
As Field Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring technicians deliver exceptional service, safety, and quality standards across the Panhandle. This role is ideal for a proven leader who can balance people management with operational oversight-driving KPIs such as service excellence, first-time fix rates, and service agreement adoption.
The Field Manager will also work closely with the President to align branch operations with regional goals and will be positioned as the next natural progression toward a General Manager role for the right high-performing candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations, ensuring technicians are dispatched, equipped, and supported to deliver best-in-class service.
- Provide direct coaching, mentorship, and accountability for service and install teams.
- Monitor job quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction on all field projects.
- Track and manage key operational metrics including service agreement adoption, callback reduction, and revenue per truck.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of technicians to build a strong, values-based team.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
- Assist in operational integration of new acquisitions by reinforcing systems, processes, and culture at the field level.
- Promote a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the GM's right hand in the field-capable of stepping into higher responsibilities as the company grows.
Requirements
3+ years of leadership experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related skilled trades.Strong knowledge of residential HVAC operations, including service and installation best practices.Proven ability to lead and inspire field teams, balancing accountability with employee development.Experience managing operational KPIs and driving performance improvements.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.Willingness to travel locally within the Florida Panhandle as needed.Preferred Qualifications
