Job Description : The Receiver role within the Distribution Center ("DC") of Ocean State Job Lot ("OSJL" and "Company") receives merchandise into the Warehouse Management System using an RF scanner in a manner that meets established standards in safety, quality, and productivity. Additional responsibilities include unloading trailers and containers, using powered equipment, ensuring items are inspected for damage and verified against worksheets while noting any discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Accurately complete and submit daily productivity sheets.
• Receive and sort merchandise into warehouse inventory with real time RF scanner to facilitate reporting of shortages, overages, and damages.
• Verify accuracy of freight by inspecting samples of each product.
• Ensure pallets are properly built with no overhang or height restriction violations.
• Work in compliance with standard operating procedures, audit-control procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean work space to meet or exceed area safety, quality, and productivity standards.
