Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant - Medical Surgical, Full Time Days

Summary : Provide essential patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring comfort and safety. Monitor and report any unusual changes in patient conditions promptly. Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies within the patient unit. Perform assigned nursing assistant procedures with care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities : Deliver compassionate care while assisting patients with daily activities. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients, demonstrating strong verbal and written skills. Adapt to varying work schedules and tasks with flexibility. Utilize basic computer skills to support documentation and communication.

Physical Demands : Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and patient turning are required. Must have the ability to observe patients closely using visual and auditory acuity. Position involves potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

Education and Certifications : Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification registered with the state registry. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
