Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control Driver

As an Access Control Officer within a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and assets. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Communicate with site staff and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Assist with access control processes to help to deter breaches and unauthorized access.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
