Active license in good standing to practice in Texas (or the ability to obtain one). Experience in urgent care medicine is preferred but not required. Ability to work under pressure and handle a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively. Flexible Schedule with Swing / Second Shift options. ONLY Urgent Care – no wellness services provided. No Abdominal Surgeries required. Fear-Free Approach and Feline Friendly Practice Strong Technical Team & Support available to assist with patient care. Brand New & Modern Facilities designed for optimal care. A partner hospital in Richardson / Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a DVM who is passionate about providing high-quality care in an urgent care environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide urgent care to animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe medications and treatments tailored to each patient's needs.
- Perform surgery when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Communicate with clients to ensure they are fully informed about their pets' health and care plan.
