Activity Aide

The Avenue at Brooklyn :

Progressive Quality Care is growing again with another brand-new, beautiful, hotel-like skilled nursing facility located in Brooklyn, Ohio. We are currently accepting resumes for an energetic and driven Activities Assistant to help to open this pristine building. We need someone with a passion for long term care, who wants to help make the Avenue of Brooklyn a household name in the Brooklyn and greater Cleveland community.

Responsibilities include :

• Assisting the Activities director in implementing programs of individual and group activities based on resident's needs and preferences.
• Assist and implement facility and community events.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• Implement evening and weekend activities as assigned.
• Documentation of participation through Point Click Care.
• Qualifications and Skills required :
• Knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Previous experience in a long term care environment preferred but will consider those with other customer service experience.
• Flexibility in scheduling and working every other weekend is required.
