Key Responsibilities :

  • Install and maintain complex mechanical systems onboard megayachts, including :

Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Fuel, water, and waste systems
  • HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Steering and propulsion systems
  • Marine appliances and fixtures
  • Custom plumbing and metal fabrication
  • Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
  • Diagnose and repair system issues with a focus on safety, quality, and reliability
  • Collaborate with engineering, electrical, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines
  • Participate in system testing and commissioning processes

    • Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical installation or service (marine, diesel, HVAC, or related)
  • Strong working knowledge of marine mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience working in custom, one-off or low-volume production environments is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • High attention to detail, safety-conscious, and strong problem-solving skills

    • Skills & Certifications :

  • Marine system certifications (e.g., ABYC, EPA 608, NMEA) are a plus
  • Welding or metal fabrication experience
  • Familiarity with yacht systems and luxury vessel outfitting
