You are a visual thinker who turns complex data into elegant, easy-to-grasp visuals—without needing to be told how. This role is for a graphic designer first who also happens to be fluent in charts, dashboards, and data-driven storytelling. You'll collaborate with analysts and editors to create best-in-class visual content, including infographics, interactive dashboards, print layouts, and more.
You'll thrive if you're comfortable working independently from raw insights , spotting the best way to show a trend, contrast, or story without someone drawing the picture for you. The ideal candidate has experience in print, digital, and data publishing , and can move between Forsta, Power BI, and Adobe Creative Suite with ease.
This position is based in the Bentonville, AR area.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design intuitive, high-impact visuals including charts, infographics, and information layouts.
- Translate key insights into visual concepts without needing fully built mockups or wireframes.
- Build layouts for newsletter, interactive dashboards, analytics reporting, and print publications.
- Collaborate with analysts, writers, and editorial staff to develop clear and compelling visual stories.
- Support creative needs across the team, including packaging design, presentation decks, and marketing assets.
Qualifications :
7+ years of experience in graphic design, visual storytelling, or publication designPortfolio demonstrating strength in data visualization and editorial layoutProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite , especially InDesign and Illustrator.Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Forsta a strong plus.Ability to work from raw insights or rough direction— no hand-holding neededExperience working in magazines, reporting companies, or research firms preferred.Comfortable juggling multiple design projects with competing deadlines.PowerPoint design expertisePreferred Background :
Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fieldExperience in business, economics, or consumer-facing analytics environments.Pet industry knowledge or interest is a plus.
