Position Summary
This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for standing up PMO capabilities from the ground up, promoting a culture of project excellence, and aligning initiatives with corporate strategy.
The Director of Program Management Office (PMO) will oversee a project portfolio spanning technology, operations, finance, business transformation, and enterprise initiatives. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, influence stakeholders across all departments, and guide the evolution of the PMO into a strategic decision support function while promoting a culture of excellence and aligning initiatives with corporate strategy.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
8+ years of progressive project and program management experience, including 3+ years leading a PMO or large-scale project function.
Demonstrated experience standing up or maturing PMO capabilities in a matrixed environment.
Experience leading both IT and business transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of hybrid delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
Proficient in Smartsheet or other project / portfolio management tools.
PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
Financial services industry, preferably banking or credit union organizations
Experience managing vendor or consultant-led projects
Familiarity with strategic planning, enterprise PMO models, or decision support frameworks
Must be able to pass a credit, criminal, and employment background check.
