Description :

Position available for a Cath Lab RN.

The schedule consists of either 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, starting at 6 AM or 7 AM.

Call requirements include every third weekend and 1-2 days during the week.

Weekend call coverage is required, and holiday call may also be needed.

Travelers are allowed to call off twice during the assignment without penalty.

After the second call-off, the unit manager will assess the situation.

Years of experience required is 2 years.

The unit may accept first-time travelers.

All travelers must hold ACLS and BLS certifications.

Pending licenses are accepted as long as they are active by the start date.

The facility has a total of 244 staffed beds and is a short-term acute care facility.

Charting is completed in a specific electronic medical record system.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.

Daily patient visits average approximately 14.

The Cath Lab consists of 3 labs and 1 hybrid room.

Special procedures include diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions.

Travelers are expected to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate locations, depending on volume.

All required certifications must be obtained before starting.

Experience with the charting system is essential.

Background policies will be reviewed prior to submission.

Professional conduct is crucial; any issues may result in contract termination.
