Salary Pay Range : $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Benefits : Excellent benefits package, including 2+ Weeks PTO and 7 paid holidays. Eligible for healthcare (single and family) first of the month following date of hire. 401(k) plan with employer match available. Employer paid Life Insurance, Short Term and Long-Term Disability. Paid Parental Leave after six months. Other Compensation : Eligible for an annual bonus (variable depending on organization performance).

Position Summary :

This role is responsible to supervise the day to day transportation department activities within assigned area(s) such as dispatching, routing, product / equipment security, equipment maintenance, etc. Assigns work to transportation associates and ensures productivity, safe work environment and efficient operations; and trains associates as necessary.

• Supervise the day to day transportation department activities within assigned area(s) such as dispatching, routing, product / equipment security, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Work with cross-functional departments as it relates to the transportation / supply chain operations and ensure prompt and timely resolution of any issues.
• Assign and update driver schedules and coordinate delivery changes through routing and scheduling software system(s) or work with dispatchers / route analysts to coordinate day-to-day scheduling of associates based on resources, volume, etc.; maximize resources and ensure most efficient routes for assigned area(s) to include customer deliveries and backhauls.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
