Job Description

As a Security Professional - - Residential Site Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming residents and visitors while monitoring access to the premises. Your primary responsibilities will include verifying credentials, managing guest logs, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and care. You will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail, all while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of the residential location.
  • Assist residents, visitors, and guests with inquiries and access in a professional manner.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification, and manage visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to residents.
  • Report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and / or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site management.
  • Follow emergency response procedures as outlined for the residential location when appropriate.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
