Superintendent / PM - Structured Cabling / Low Voltage

Overview

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of structured cabling and technology installations in the Columbia territory. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations, while managing schedules, materials, and on-site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site lead for all project activities, acting as the central point of contact for technicians, vendors, and leadership.
• Direct daily tasks, track progress, and resolve roadblocks to ensure timely completion of work.
• Monitor and report on project performance, including schedule, materials, and labor needs, to the Operations Director.
• Oversee job site safety, enforce compliance with company safety policies, and conduct ongoing field training.
• Manage material deliveries, inventory, and site organization, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Supervise and support field teams, promoting skill development, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
• Assist with site documentation, project scope updates, budget tracking, and closeout documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and ensure quality work meets project timelines and specifications.
• Participate in site walkthroughs, customer meetings, and needs assessments to align work with expectations.
