Responsibilities
- Test and Troubleshoot : Use specialized test equipment to evaluate electronic products, identifying issues down to the component and sub-assembly level with precision.
- Interpret and Execute : Analyze schematics, drawings, and specifications to set up and perform tests, ensuring products meet rigorous standards.
- Collaborate and Mentor : Share your expertise by cross-training and mentoring other technicians, while providing technical guidance to assemblers.
- Innovate and Improve : Recommend process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communicate and Document : Provide clear written and oral feedback on test results, troubleshooting efforts, and quality observations.
- Maintain Excellence : Keep your workstation and tools organized, comply with safety regulations, and engage in a self-directed teaming environment.
Requirements
Education : A 2-year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months), or a 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field.Experience : Depending on your education, 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge.Skills : Proficiency in troubleshooting to the component level, interpreting schematics, and using tools like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and Hi-Pot meters.
