Human Resources Business Partner
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in aligning the People & Organization (P&O) strategy with the business objectives of the organization. This position involves consulting with line management, providing daily HR guidance, and resolving complex employee issues. The HRBP supports business units in staffing, workforce planning, training, and organizational changes, ensuring that the organization has the right talent with the appropriate capabilities at the right time. The role also emphasizes promoting a culture of reliability and shared success, reflecting the organization's core values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure P&O business processes related to the business partner role are documented, up-to-date, and consistently followed.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management and leaders, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Support union negotiations and implementation by providing expertise on labor strategy development and labor management responsibilities.
- Manage the Performance Improvement Process and support the Annual Performance Management Process for Business Units and P&O Centers of Excellence.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Assist and / or conduct employee investigations.
- Apply knowledge of business to make informed decisions, provide alternatives to solve problems, and identify themes and trends.
- Train and provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, employment law, and CBA articles and provisions.
- Be responsible for Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Plan Program, including analysis and reporting activities.
Essential Skills
BA / BS degree with 7+ years of proven related human resource experience (advanced degree preferred).Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruiting, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.Experience managing labor relations, handling grievances, and arbitrations.Union experience and similar industry experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of Work Areas and Responsibilities with the ability to adapt to changes or explore opportunities and challenges.Work Environment
The role is 100% on-site from Monday through Friday, with flexible start and end times, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00 / yr.
