Qualifications
Licensure :
- Must hold a current, active, unrestricted medical license to practice in any U.S. state or territory
- Physicians with past license restrictions (suspensions, revocations, voluntary surrenders, etc.) will not be considered.
- All licenses must be in good standing at the time of submission and throughout the contract period.
Board Certification :
Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)Continuing medical education must be maintained throughout the duration of the assignment.Annual proof of board certification may be required.Technical Proficiency :
Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).Must provide documentation of education, licensure, and clinical competency upon request.Must comply with all facility-specific bylaws and medical staff regulations.Clinical Scope of Practice (~95%)
The provider will deliver comprehensive imaging services consistent with modern, state-of-the-art medical facilities. Responsibilities include :
General and Interventional RadiologyUltrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine (Nuc Med)Interventional Radiography (IR)Diagnostic review and consultative supportCommunicating test results to clinical teamsParticipating in pre-scheduling and next-day case reviews (approx. 2 hrs / day)Performing post-procedure evaluations and documenting follow-upProviding discharge education and coordinating next-care stepsAdministrative Duties (~5%)
Attend quality improvement and staff meetings as requiredParticipate in peer reviews (~4 hours / month)Complete QA / QI documentation for procedures and outcomesSupport patient safety protocols and reporting systemsParticipate in specialized clinical meetings and follow-up as assignedSchedule & Call Coverage
Core Hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM (on-site)After-Hours Call : Weekdays (4 : 30 PM–8 : 00 AM), Weekends & HolidaysResponse Time : Phone within 15 minutes; on-site within 60 minutes during callProvider must be available for phone consultations and urgent imaging requests during all on-call hoursSchedule may include clinic, OR, and imaging suite time as assignedIdeal Candidate Profile
