What You Will Need to Be Successful
Building Materials Sales Experience (Dealers / Retailers)
Proven track record engaging lumberyards, building materials dealers, or similar customers in the construction supply chain. You understand the language, the buying cycles, and the unique dynamics of this market.
Team Building & Sales Leadership
You won’t just be closing deals you’ll be building the foundation for a high-performing sales organization. We need someone with the vision and capability to recruit, train, and develop other sales professionals as the business grows. Your early wins become the case studies. Your approach becomes the methodology. Your hires become the core team.
Hunter Mentality
Track record of prospecting and closing new business, developing accounts from scratch, and creating opportunities where none existed.
Customer-Centric Relationship Builder
History of building lasting relationships and serving as a trusted advisor whether working with independent mom-and-pop operations or larger regional buyers. You understand that in building materials, relationships drive revenue, and you know how to earn trust and deliver value at every level of an organization.
Technical Aptitude
Strong ability to learn and articulate complex solutions, ideally with experience in technology platforms or construction-related tools. You can translate features into business outcomes and help customers see the competitive advantage.
