Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT / Radiology Dual Modality Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a community-based, urban hospital within a teaching environment
  • CT and radiology dual modality role in a busy department averaging 100 patients per day
  • Handle inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient imaging
  • Utilize Siemens CT Force and Siemens AS64 equipment
  • Epic EMR used in the department
  • 12-hour night shifts with every weekend rotation
  • No on-call or floating required
  • Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays that fall within the assignment
  • At least two technologists are scheduled for all shifts
  • Responsibilities include performing CT and radiology imaging procedures for inpatient, emergency, and outpatient populations
  • Orientation includes NEO and 2 days departmental training
  • Black scrubs required while on duty
  • Free parking is available
  • The department fosters a family-friendly and just culture environment
  • RTO requests must be approved by nurse manager

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years acute care experience required
  • Current BLS and ARRT-CT certifications required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high patient volumes and complex cases
  • ED imaging experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • First-time travelers may be considered
