Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy in a growing munity is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support their high-volume prescription needs. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a chance to operate in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of pharmacy services and potential advancement into a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) role.

Location : Red Bluff, CA

Setting : Retail Pharmacy

Type : Contract to Hire, Travel Assignment with long-term potential

Schedule :

  • MondayFriday : 9 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM
  • Saturday : 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
  • Sundays : Closed

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately fill and transfer prescriptions in a busy retail setting
  • Provide patient consultations and prehensive medication counseling
  • Support hospital discharge medication processes
  • Manage over-the-counter medication needs, including special orders
  • Facilitate home delivery services for patients
  • Administer immunizations in pliance with regulations

    • Qualifications & Desired Experience :

  • Active California Pharmacist license required
  • Recent experience in retail pharmacy essential to meet the demands of a growing prescription volume
  • Strong munication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team
