The Position :

The Medical Assistant Floater - Research will be responsible for assisting the provider with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for patients of the practice. This position is expected to float between practices as needed, as well as assist with our Patient Services Representatives, Infusion Suite and Research Department as needed.

As a Medical Assistant Floater - Research, a typical day might look like :

  • Greeting and preparing patients for health care provider while maintaining a positive and caring attitude.
  • Monitoring, tracking and assisting patients during office visits.
  • Obtaining and accurately recording patient information; vitals, height, weight, etc.
  • Updating charts and tracking paperwork to completion.
  • Rotating to Patient Services Representative role at the front desk as requested.
  • Assisting the Research Department as needed.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
  • This job might be for you if :

  • You have 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
  • You have a High School Degree
  • You have experience and ability to navigate an EMR.
  • You have solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
