job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients, following site-specific policies and procedures as well as security-related protocols for the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Communicate professionally with staff and visitors, offering assistance as needed and reporting any unusual activity. Document observations, incidents, and / or actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Remain alert to surroundings and changing conditions at the location, escalating issues as appropriate to management or emergency services. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. This position requires driving as part of your duties. You will be part of a team that values reliability, innovation, and puts people first, delivering service with integrity and agility every day.

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
