We are seeking a qualified and experienced Optometrist to join our team in Nassau County, NY , for conducting Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) . This flexible, per diem opportunity is ideal for optometrists who are looking to apply their expertise in a non-clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review Medical Records : Carefully assess and interpret medical documents related to vision care and ocular health.
- Conduct Eye Examinations : Perform in-person evaluations to assess visual function, ocular injuries, or other conditions relevant to IME cases.
- Answer Clinical Inquiries : Provide clear and objective responses to clinical questions posed by insurance carriers or legal representatives.
- Prepare IME Reports : Deliver timely and comprehensive written reports (within 5 business days) based on your findings.
