Responsibilities Work in an academic level 1 trauma, stroke, and transplant hospital with high acuity patients Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, rotating every other week with some weekend coverage Call required up to 5 days per month Caseload of approximately 7-9 exams per day, with each exam estimated at one hour Bedside, chemical, and physical stress exams performed routinely Team includes 5 full-time and 3 PRN sonographers Must be willing to work at least 4 out of 8 identified holidays, including major winter holidays Bedside exams are commonplace in this high acuity environment Free onsite parking available Caribbean blue scrubs preferred but not required All travelers must be clean shaven to participate in FIT testing as part of onboarding All RTO must be submitted with the application; additional time off is at management discretion Travelers may only work up to one year; a six-month break is required before returning Allied modules to be completed pre-start, approximately one hour in duration Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer BLS and either RCDS or RCS certification required Proven experience with stress testing procedures is required Must have required licensure in hand prior to start (license required if applicable) Pending state license accepted if documentation is complete prior to start Candidates must reside at least 70 miles from the facility to be eligible First-time travelers are accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624071.
