Setting : Telemetry Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)

Start Date : September 29, 2025

End Date : November 24, 2025

Duration : 8-week contract

Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00am – 7 : 30pm), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1400 - $1500 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, telemetry monitoring, and ongoing care

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record

Participate in nursing shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
