Job Description : Pediatrician – Private Pediatric Practice Job Title : Pediatrician Reports To : CEO FLSA Status : Exempt Location : Evans, Georgia; Grovetown, Georgia (multi-office pediatric practice) Employment Type : Full-Time (Hiring both Full-Time and FLEX / Part-Time) Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and team-oriented Pediatrician to join our growing multi-location pediatric practice serving families across the Augusta–Evans area. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents while demonstrating excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the care team. This role combines clinical expertise, patient education, and collaboration with colleagues to ensure the highest standard of pediatric healthcare. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Provide primary care for patients from birth through adolescence, including well-child visits, immunizations, developmental screenings, and preventive care. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic childhood illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions. Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of patients and families. Provide anticipatory guidance and health education to parents and caregivers. Clinical Duties Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with practice and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physician colleagues, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Participate in practice-wide initiatives, including quality improvement programs, patient safety efforts, and new service development. Team & Leadership Serve as a role model for clinical excellence, professionalism, and compassionate care. Participate in rotating call schedules, as assigned. Contribute to case discussions, peer reviews, and continuing education efforts within the practice. Mentor medical staff and support the education of residents or students, when applicable. Qualifications Education & Training Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics. Licensure & Certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start). Current DEA registration. BLS and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 90 days of hire). Experience Previous experience in a pediatric private practice or multi-provider clinical setting preferred.
