Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN – Travel Contract Summary\n📍 Location : \n\nMust live 50+ miles away\n\nCannot be currently employed (FT, PT, PRN) at CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facilities\n\n🕒 Shift & Scheduling : \n\nShift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts)\n\nSchedule : Created by unit director (no self- scheduling)\n\nWeekend & Holiday Requirements : Must work as needed based on facility needs\n\nOrientation : 3 x 12-hour unit-specific shifts\n\nFloating : To Med / Surg or ER (1 : 1) as needed\n\nScrub Color : Navy\n\n🛏️ Unit Details : \n\nBeds : 4-bed ICU\n\nNurse : Patient Ratio : 1 : 2–3 depending on acuity\n\nCharge Nurse : No dedicated charge; ER oversees ICU\n\nSupport Staff : \n\nNo aides or PCTs\n\nNo monitor techs — RNs must interpret their own strips\n\nCommon Diagnoses : \n\nDKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure\n\nCardiac (rate & rhythm management), Medical Detox\n\nPatients with Art Lines and CVPs
