$450 to $525 per hour

About The Position

Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - Louisiana, Flexible Schedule

Outpatient Hematology and Oncology role in New Orleans with temp privileges and blocks still open into fall.

Highlights

  • 2 weeks / month minimum; full-time also available
  • Ongoing through the year; start ASAP or later

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient cancer center in New Orleans
  • 40% Hematology / 60% Oncology patient mix
  • APPs cover inpatient; MDs focus only on outpatient
  • Primary site is Tuoro; occasional shifts at nearby clinic
  • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
  • Call 1 : 6 weekly, light volume
  • 2-week minimum commitment preferred for coverage split
  • Cases and Procedures

  • 20 patients / day on average
  • Adults only; no BMT or CAR-T
  • Must be comfortable with Epic EMR
  • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, or both
  • Active Louisiana license or IMLC eligible
  • BLS and DEA required
  • Travel Accommodations

  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage all reimbursed
