Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (EE) to oversee the integration of lithium-ion battery modules into a marine electric vehicle system. The project involves interfacing with an existing Battery Management System (BMS) manufactured by EWERT, specifically the Orion BMS2 with expansion modules. The batteries will power two UQM / DanFoss PP250 electric motors and will be charged by two PP250 electric generators driven by John Deere Diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• nalyze and design the entire electrical system and battery charging interface.
• Utilize existing components while potentially recommending additional components and tools / equipment necessary to complete the project.
• Work closely with project management to ensure project goals are met within the specified timeline.
• This project is a prototype for single-personal use rather than mass production.
