Job Description The Staff Nurse, RN provides nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient's plan of care. The role emphasizes creating an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, to heal, and to educate. As the primary care giver, the Staff Nurse, RN provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, the physician, and the patient / family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency room.

Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Collaborate with care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain patient confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

Float to various units as needed, adhering to similar or lower-level acuity.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training.

National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

ER experience required.

Must reside outside a 60-mile radius.
