Job Title : Controls Engineer - 1.5-3+ years experience required!

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, test, and oversee the implementation of electrical systems for custom HVAC machinery. You will work closely with mechanical engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into our machinery designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and controls for custom machinery.
• Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Select and specify components such as sensors, actuators, controllers, and power systems.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems as needed.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall machinery designs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and system configurations.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of machinery.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 8 am to 4 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday. The work environment is business casual, requiring steel-toed boots. There is no travel involved.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.27 / hr.
