Fielding's Culinary Group is now hiring a Host / Hostess at FIELDING'S LOCAL KITCHEN.
We are searching for an experienced, passionate and outgoing individual.
ABOUT FIELDING'S LOCAL KITCHEN + BAR
Fielding's local kitchen + bar is our casual, upscale neighborhood restaurant in Creekside Park Village Center. Our menu includes dry-aged steaks, handmade artisan pasta, house-cured charcuterie, open flame pizza, and re-invented desserts. "The Watering Hole" Bar offers 25 draft and bottle craft beer, hand-crafted cocktails, a 120-bottle selection of wine and 150 spirits. Lunch and Dinner daily, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

HOST Job Requirements
Host Job description
The Host position at Fieldings is a key element in creating positive, memorable guest experience. It is the first and last person a guest sees when entering and leaving. The positions sets the stage for the experience with Fieldings
Essential Duties but not limited to :
Maintain a positive attitude in high stress situations
Present a positive, well kempt, well groomed appearance
Greet guests with a smile
Be able to influence guests in a positive manner
Use the computerized reservation system
Communicate clearly on the phone
Accurately record and communicate information
Seat servers in rotation, and tract how many guests are seating in each servers station
Monitor maintenance, cleaning and working
condition of the host station areas
Enforce clean as you go habit and behavior
Daily communication report with management
Competencies & Qualifications :
Have a true happy disposition
Bi-lingual a plus
Like highly fluid situations
Be able to think on your feet quickly
Demonstrate interest and share knowledge of food
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Able to follow directions
Develop rapport with food expert to understand the full range of Fieldings products and services
Consistently search ways to improve and promote a high level of guest service
Review and discuss guest and Partner feedback
Treat guests and Partners with respect
Provide a risk free and safe working environment and experience
Apply accurate logic and common sense in decisions making or solving problems
Seek expertise help and resources to achieve goals and objectives
Stay focused and detailed oriented while on duty and work through distractions
Able to identify, prioritize activities and modify work routines to eliminate wasted efforts
Follow guidelines and rules of Fieldings culinary group
Speak clearly and logically to be understood and get the point across when communicating
Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual
