Insight Global is looking for a Service Desk Administrator (Tier 1.5) to join a national leader in MEP building systems.
Service Desk Administrator
Location : Tempe, AZ 85288 (M-F 8am-5pm, 5 days onsite)
Contract : 6–12 months (rolling contract, strong potential for extension and or FTE conversion)
Pay : $25–$35 / hr (based on level of experience)
Must-Haves :
- 3+ years in IT Helpdesk / Desktop Support within an enterprise environment
- A passion for IT and end-user support!
- Must have experience with Active Directory, Intune and Entra ID
- Preferred to have experience with SharePoint, Teams, Exchange
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin
- Service Now ticketing system experience
- Experience with DNS / DHCP, GPOs, Patch Management, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; IT certifications are a plus.
Day-to-Day :
Tackle advanced troubleshooting challenges and keep systems running smoothly.Tier 1.5 support handling up to 20-25 tickets per day, some days busier than othersOversee deployments, updates, and performance monitoring.Deliver exceptional service via phone, chat, and email—building trust and confidence at every interaction.Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve outages and optimize systems.Maintain a robust knowledge base and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
