Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavioral support services for students diagnosed with emotional / behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories for their lives.

We currently have an opening for a full-time, year-round Assistant Fleet Manager for our Fleet Services.

JOB GOAL

Provide assistance to the fleet manager with the daily operations and maintenance of our BHA's fleet of motor vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform weekly vehicle inspection / checklist (fluids, tire pressure, etc.).
• Assist with scheduling routine, emergency service, and warranty work at auto repair shops and dealerships.
• Assist in the maintenance of vehicle insurance cards and registrations.
• Assist with maintaining the fleet spreadsheet showing year, make, model, VIN, license, inspection, registration expirations, oil change milage, and most recent milage.
• Assist with the maintenance of vehicle registration, insurance cards, and vehicle maintenance files.
• Help process vehicle gas cards and maintain gas card spreadsheet.
• Assist with maintaining an updated list of drivers who can operate the fleet vehicles (yearly).
• Assist in maintaining the cars cleanliness, both in the interior and exterior.
• Pick up new vehicles at the dealership.
• Help transport vehicles to and from auto shops.
• Perform simple maintenance on the vehicles - including but not limited to jumping a vehicle, changing / fixing tires, windshield wiper / blade changes, replenishing fluids, etc.
• Must maintain a professional relationship with BHA Employees and outside Auto Repair Shops and businesses.
• Must be willing to substitute as a Driver or Aide for BHA's Transportation Department, when needed.
• Assist with snow and ice removal from around vehicles to ensure safe access.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
