TeamHealth cultivates leaders to guide their teams toward goals like client retention and patient satisfaction, as well as the ultimate goal - high-quality patient care. The critical care lead is an advanced practice provider (APP) responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU or other acute care settings. This leadership role also includes oversight of nurse practitioner (NP) and physician assistant (PA) activities within the critical care team, coordination with multidisciplinary clinicians, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring evidence-based practice standards. The lead APC will serve as a clinical expert, mentor, and liaison for nursing and medical staff.
