Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (Outside Sales)

Job Overview
We are partnering with a leading tech company in the food delivery industry to hire an Associate Growth Merchant Lead (Outside Sales) to join their expansion team. This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on driving new restaurant partnerships across underserved and rural markets.
As a Growth Merchant Lead, you’ll be on the front lines of business development—meeting face-to-face with restaurant owners, selling the value of the platform, and helping to expand into new territories. You’ll own a fast-paced sales cycle and close deals quickly with the support of a Regional Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Travel across your assigned territory to identify and onboard new restaurant partners.
Pitch and close revenue-share partnership deals with local businesses.
Manage a transactional sales cycle—most deals are closed within days.
Use sales tools (marketing materials, gift cards, etc.) to support your outreach.
Work closely with your Regional Sales Manager to execute on territory strategy.
Log activities and progress in the internal CRM system.
✅ Requirements
2.5+ years of outside sales experience , ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident in face-to-face selling.
Willing and able to travel 50%+ of the time—this includes daily local travel and occasional overnights.
Entrepreneurial mindset; self-starter who thrives in autonomous environments.
Background in hospitality, restaurants, or tech sales is a plus.
Must have a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (see travel requirements below).

Location : Based in Wausau, WI
Work Hours : Aligned with Pacific Time (PST)
Pay Rate : Up to $33.10 / hr
Commission : Uncapped — On-Target Earnings (OTE) around $1,750 / month
Driving Requirements
This is a field-based role that requires the use of your personal vehicle. Candidates must provide :
Proof of full auto insurance (minimum 100 / 300 / 100 liability coverage)
Valid vehicle registration
Valid driver’s license
Completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check
All documents will be collected during onboarding
