Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours Employment Type : Travel Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry Location : Concord, MA Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks Shift Type : Days Shift Times : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM Hours / Week : 36 Shift Notes : 12-hour days, every other weekend and every other holiday On Call Requirements : None Position Overview Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg / Telemetry patients in an acute care setting. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective patient care planning. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care to patients on Med Surg and Telemetry units in accordance with hospital policies and MA RN scope of practice. Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognize changes in patient status, and respond appropriately. Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols. Utilize Telemetry monitoring systems and respond to arrhythmias or other alerts. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Meditech. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families regarding patient care plans. Participate in orientation, unit-based education, and mandatory trainings as required. Telemetry competency test will be administered on the first day of orientation.
