My client has been in the Indy market for 55 years servicing multiple repeat clients and the local communities. They are a design / build firm whose unique approach allows them to secure relationship based work and have strong connections in the market. They have a very diverse portfolio that consists of faith-based projects, office buildings, restaurant / retail, and automotive projects. The Preconstruction Executive will :

• Preconstruction Leadership & Department Development
• Build and lead the preconstruction department, including staffing, systems, and processes.
• Develop and implement preconstruction protocols, estimating tools, and project budgeting frameworks.
• Collaborate with design and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery from concept to construction.
• Oversee bid preparation, subcontractor engagement, and value engineering efforts.
• Strategic Growth & Executive Collaboration
• Partner with the President to define and execute long-term business strategies.
• Contribute to organizational planning, including market expansion, service offerings, and operational improvements.
• Participate in executive decision-making and leadership meetings.
• Business Development & Client Engagement
• Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise during client pitches and proposal development.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Talent Acquisition & Team Building
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing preconstruction and construction professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
