About The Position

We are seeking an Optometrist for a mobile clinic initiative in Ohio, offering a focused 65-day locum tenens assignment starting on Sep 22, 2025. The role primarily involves conducting eye exams for children at various schools from Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm, adapting to school schedules. This position requires flexibility as the provider will travel between schools every 3-4 weeks to ensure all children are seen.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations for children in a school setting
  • Operate within a mobile clinic, transitioning between schools every 3-4 weeks
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of all examinations
  • Collaborate with on-site technical staff who will manage the setup and breakdown of the mobile units

  • Must hold a valid Optometry board certification
  • Requires current Ohio state license to practice
  • Prior experience with pediatric patients preferred
