Leasing Associate

In support of the Leasing Representatives the job of a Leasing Associate is to collect data and details of prospective tenants, prepare and strategize for internal and external meetings, develop and strategize market specific data, prepare tenant deal presentations and periodic attendance at tenant meetings. This is a developmental position with the expectation that the Leasing Associate shall transition into the Leasing Representative position within 6-18 months.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Participate in 7 : 30am Leasing Meeting daily
• Research recent news articles to stay current on shopping center, retail, restaurant, entertainment trends, etc.
• Complete pre-meeting presentations for leasing representatives that are ready to be presented at the morning meeting. This includes :

In depth research on company history, ownership, key principles and financial condition.

Supervisory Responsibility : None

Education Required : Bachelors Degree

Experience : One year of experience in the business world preferable but not mandatory. Must have a solid understanding of financial analysis, in addition to Microsoft Office applications.

Other Qualities : This candidate must be a proven leader, self-starter, possesses strong interpersonal communication, organizational and analytical skills.
